Ewens Ponds Conservation Park

Drift-snorkel three spring pools

Three interconnected freshwater spring ponds of extraordinary clarity, linked by channels you can drift-snorkel through.

A drift through clear water

Ewens Ponds are three deep, spring-fed pools connected by shallow channels, fed by groundwater so clear and constantly cool that visibility seems endless. Snorkellers enter the first pond and let the gentle current carry them through the channels and ponds, gliding over waving aquatic plants and small fish. The ponds are fragile, so access is by booked permit with strict limits on numbers and time.
