Port MacDonnell
South Australia's southernmost town and a rock-lobster fishing port, gateway to the coastal heath, springs and the slopes of Mount Schank.
Port MacDonnell sits at the very bottom of South Australia, a working rock-lobster port wrapped in volcanic coastline and freshwater springs.
The town is the launching point for Piccaninnie and Ewens Ponds, the Dingley Dell cottage of poet Adam Lindsay Gordon, and the long sweep of the southern coast.
