Kingston SE Foreshore

Kingston's long sandy foreshore and jetty, the calm bayside face of the town beneath Larry the Lobster.

Strung along the shore of Lacepede Bay, the Kingston SE foreshore offers a long, calm beach, a heritage jetty and grassy reserves perfect for a picnic. It is the gentle, family-friendly heart of this gateway town at the southern end of the Coorong.

The jetty is popular for fishing and for evening strolls, while the protected bay waters are good for swimming and launching small boats. The town's famous big lobster, Larry, presides over the highway just out of town.

With its easygoing pace and safe swimming, the Kingston foreshore is a natural overnight stop for travellers heading along the Limestone Coast.
