A landlocked salt lake near Beachport, up to seven times saltier than the sea, where you float effortlessly on the surface.
A lake you can't sink in
The Pool of Siloam is a small salt lake on the edge of Beachport, reputedly up to seven times saltier than the ocean. The dense, mineral-rich water makes you wonderfully buoyant - lie back and you simply float, much like the Dead Sea. It's long been visited for its supposedly soothing properties, and a boardwalk and steps make access easy. Rinse off afterwards, as the salt dries on quickly.
