Port MacDonnell Foreshore
The waterfront of South Australia's southernmost town and busiest rock-lobster port, with a sheltered swimming pool and jetty.
Port MacDonnell is the southernmost town in South Australia and home to one of the state's largest rock-lobster fleets, whose boats line the small harbour.
The foreshore has a sheltered ocean swimming enclosure, a long jetty popular with anglers, and a maritime museum telling the story of the many ships wrecked along this exposed coast. Mount Schank, a near-perfect volcanic cone, rises a short drive inland.
