Crater Lakes Walk
A loop trail around the rims of the Blue Lake and Valley Lake craters, taking in lookouts over the volcanic landscape.
The Crater Lakes Walk circles the rims of Mount Gambier's volcanic lakes, linking lookouts over the Blue Lake, Valley Lake and the dormant craters that cradle them.
The full circuit is a few kilometres of mostly level path with some climbs to the high points, where the Blue Lake's colour shift between grey and brilliant cobalt is best appreciated. Centenary Tower, the highest point in the city, sits at the top of the climb for those who want the widest view.
