A guided show cave winding beneath the streets of Mount Gambier, popular with cave divers exploring its flooded passages.
Under the city
Engelbrecht Cave passes directly beneath several Mount Gambier streets. Once used to drain a whisky distillery's waste, it has been developed into an accessible show cave with guided tours descending to viewing platforms above startlingly clear underground water. The flooded sections beyond are internationally renowned among technical cave divers. Above-ground tours run regularly and suit families.
