A 17km sweep of firm white sand at Robe where you can drive your car right onto the beach and swim in calm, protected water.
Seventeen kilometres of sand
Robe's Long Beach is one of the great family beaches of the Limestone Coast — a broad arc of firm, white sand stretching some 17 kilometres north from the town. The sand is hard-packed enough to drive on, so families set up for the day right beside their cars, and the gently shelving, protected water makes it one of the safest swimming beaches in the region.
