Naracoorte Swimming Lake
A spring-fed swimming lake and reserve in Naracoorte, a long-loved free family spot in summer.
A country swimming lake
The Naracoorte Swimming Lake is a much-loved community swimming spot, a spring-fed lake set in a grassy reserve on the edge of town. For generations it has been the place locals cool off on hot summer days, with lawns for picnics, shade trees and an easygoing country atmosphere.
Free to use, with surrounding parkland and walking paths, it is an unpretentious family stop and a pleasant counterpoint to the region's wineries and caves.
