Raidis Estate
A characterful Greek-Australian family cellar door in Coonawarra, naming its wines after the family goats.
A family with character
Raidis Estate is one of Coonawarra's most personable small wineries, run by the Greek-Australian Raidis family who planted their terra rossa vineyard in the 1990s. The cellar door pours a tight range built around Cabernet Sauvignon, alongside Riesling, Pinot Gris and a rosé, with wines cheekily named after the family's goats — The Kid, Billy, Trumus.
The tasting room has a relaxed, welcoming feel, and the family connection is everywhere. It is the kind of place where you can taste benchmark Coonawarra Cabernet without any pretension, and walk away with a story or two.
