Coonawarra's most recognisable winery, its 1896 triple-gabled cellar set among the oldest vines on the terra rossa.
The face of Coonawarra
The triple-gabled stone cellar at Wynns is one of the most photographed buildings in Australian wine, drawn from life as the label on every bottle. Established on John Riddoch's original vineyard, Wynns is the largest vineyard holder in Coonawarra and a benchmark producer of Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz. The Black Label Cabernet and single-vineyard releases show exactly why terra rossa and Cabernet are so closely linked.
