Canunda National Park
A wild coastal park of towering dunes, surf beaches and rugged cliffs stretching between Southend and Carpenter Rocks.
Canunda National Park guards one of the most dramatic stretches of the Limestone Coast, where the Southern Ocean drives against limestone cliffs and builds some of South Australia's largest coastal dunes.
From Southend in the north to Carpenter Rocks in the south, the park offers four-wheel-drive tracks across the sand, surf and rock-fishing spots, and walking trails through coastal heath rich in birdlife. The exposed cliffs near Cape Buffon are a fine place to watch the swell roll in.
