Valley Lake
A crater lake in the Crater Lakes reserve with a wildlife park, boardwalks and easy walking beside the water.
Valley Lake sits in the same volcanic complex as the famous Blue Lake, a quieter sister crater ringed by walking trails and picnic lawns.
The adjoining Valley Lake Conservation Park has a free wildlife park where kangaroos, emus and waterbirds roam, plus boardwalks and a playground that make it a favourite with families. A walking track circles the rim, giving views down into the steep-sided crater.
