Beachport Coastal Escape

Scenic drives, a buoyant swim and the Limestone Coast at its quietest

1 day Slow-coast travellers and beach lovers 6 stops

The plan

Beachport is one of the Limestone Coast's most underrated towns, a small fishing village wrapped in conservation parks, scenic coastline and one of Australia's saltiest swimming holes. This easy day lets you take it all in without rushing.

Start with the visitor centre to get your bearings and the town's whaling and shipwreck history, then follow the Bowmans Scenic Drive out along the cliffs. Float in the Pool of Siloam, walk the long jetty, and finish among the dunes and lakes of the conservation park. It's a day built for ambling, not ticking boxes.
