Naracoorte's main street holds some handsome old stonework, and The Mews makes the most of a restored heritage building with a warm, light-filled dining room.
It's an easy spot for breakfast or a long coffee before heading out to the Naracoorte Caves, or a place to regroup afterwards over a relaxed lunch.
Like much of the town, it rewards travellers who slow down rather than treating Naracoorte as a quick caves stop.
